This adventure started months ago with putting our home up for sell in the spring, meeting with our builder and architect, continuosly prepping our exisiting home for showings, finally selling our home, closing on our old home, moving, finishing Mom's basement so we have a place to stay (thanks Mom!), and finally closing on our new lot.

Today was a busy day meeting with the bank and closing on our construction loan, starting a blog, and then meeting with our contractor to sign the contract and discuss the to-do-list for the next two weeks.  Here are some picture of our lot pre-construction.
